Low-Voltage Infrastructure for Medical, Dental & Professional Offices
Physical technology infrastructure coordinated with construction, clinical equipment, security, and the organization's IT provider.

What ATS owns in a professional healthcare office
ATS owns the physical infrastructure: cabling, racks, pathways, AP mounting, camera/access physical installation, AV, and field testing/documentation. The IT provider typically retains firewall/switch configuration, Microsoft tenant, endpoint management, security policies, managed services, and ongoing support.
Dental offices
Dental build-outs can require workstation/data drops, dedicated connectivity for dental equipment, front-desk network, rack/telecom infrastructure, AP locations, cameras, door access, audio, displays, and coordination with equipment vendors.

Eye-care / medical offices
When a separate MSP or IT provider already owns the technology environment, ATS can stay in the physical field lane. On a Nanticoke eye-care office, ATS performed physical rough-in, AP-location coordination/cabling, and camera cabling while the IT provider retained configuration/support.
Working with the existing IT company
A healthcare customer should not have to choose between the IT provider it trusts and the contractor that can physically install the building infrastructure. See IT/MSP partners for the partner-safe field model.
- ATS: cabling, racks, pathways, AP mounting, camera/access physical installation, AV, field testing/documentation
- IT provider: firewall/switch configuration, Microsoft tenant, endpoint management, security policies, managed services, ongoing support
Construction coordination
Professional-office build-outs go wrong when technology is sequenced after the walls close.
- confirm data locations before drywall
- coordinate pathways/power
- review equipment-vendor requirements
- confirm rack location
- identify camera/access positions
- coordinate displays/AV
- establish testing and closeout requirements before bid
