What is business Wi-Fi installation?
Business Wi-Fi installation is the survey, cabling, mounting, and configuration of commercial access points so staff and guests stay connected without sharing the same network as payment systems. Atkins Tech Solutions treats it as a low-voltage and network job, not a consumer mesh kit on a single cable modem.

Start with coverage and capacity
An access point can show full bars and still deliver a poor user experience when too many devices compete for airtime, channels overlap, APs are mounted in the wrong locations, or building materials block signal. A proper design considers the floor plan, construction, device density, guest and staff usage, POS traffic, roaming, interference, cable pathways, and switch PoE budget. Restaurants and retail
Restaurants and retail sites often need several wireless environments operating in the same building: staff devices, guest Wi-Fi, POS systems, handheld ordering devices, cameras, music/AV devices, and management equipment. Atkins Tech Solutions designs physical coverage and network separation so guest traffic does not become the same network your business operations depend on.
Warehouse Wi-Fi
Warehouses are difficult wireless environments because ceiling height, metal racks, inventory, moving equipment, and long aisles affect propagation. UniFi / Ubiquiti installations
UniFi is a strong fit for many small and mid-size commercial environments, but the platform does not replace design. Atkins Tech Solutions installs UniFi systems using the same planning, cabling, segmentation, and commissioning process used for other business Wi-Fi platforms. Existing Wi-Fi troubleshooting and upgrades
If an existing system has dead zones, poor roaming, overloaded APs, unreliable POS connectivity, or unexplained dropouts, Atkins Tech Solutions can evaluate the RF environment and physical infrastructure before recommending more hardware. Persistent coverage and performance problems are handled on site — not promised as a remote diagnosis.

- How many access points does my building need?
There is no reliable one-AP-per-X-square-feet rule. Layout, materials, density, ceiling height, interference, and device requirements determine the design.
- Can ATS install UniFi?

- Can guest Wi-Fi be separated from POS and staff traffic?
Yes. Network segmentation is a standard design consideration for commercial environments where guest traffic and business systems share the same physical infrastructure.
- Do you run the cable for the access points?
