Challenge

Commercial spaces change after the original build. Tenants move, desks shift, network equipment gets relocated, new camera coverage is needed, and a second internet circuit may terminate somewhere that no longer matches the current office layout. The expensive mistake is treating every change as an isolated service call. Without continuity, each technician spends time rediscovering the same cable plant.

Phase 1 — Network relocation and buildout

As the client's space changed, ATS relocated and rebuilt the physical network infrastructure to match the current office layout.

Phase 2 — Camera infrastructure

ATS supported the site's camera environment with physical infrastructure for approximately six cameras, coordinated with the same network/rack environment rather than creating a separate undocumented cable plant.

Phase 3 — Secondary ISP / carrier path

ATS later returned when the client needed help with a secondary internet circuit. The work required tracing the carrier path from the remote telecom area toward the current tenant space, identifying the handoff path, and completing the field extension/run required for backup connectivity. This is closer to forensic infrastructure troubleshooting than a simple new cable run: first understand what exists and where it actually goes.

Results

The customer gained continuity across multiple changes to the same commercial environment — network cabling, rack infrastructure, Wi-Fi, camera work, and later carrier/ISP field support handled with knowledge of the existing site.
